TYM Tractors, originally known as Tong Yang Moolsan Co. Ltd., was founded in 1951 in South Korea. Initially focused on producing agricultural machinery, the company gradually expanded its expertise and product range. In the 1970s, TYM began producing rice transplanters and small cultivators and constructed its first dedicated agricultural machine factory. By 1973, it was listed on the Korean Stock Exchange.

In the 1980s, TYM began exporting its tractors internationally and became the first Korean manufacturer to export to South and Central America. The 1990s saw the establishment of a dedicated R&D center and ISO certifications, solidifying its reputation for quality.

The 2000s marked TYM’s global leap. The company established TYM-USA in 2004, headquartered in Wilson, North Carolina, to target the U.S. market with compact and utility tractors. Key milestones include the 2016 acquisition of Kukje Machinery (aka Branson Tractors), enhancing its product offerings, and then the 2022 launch of TYM North America, unifying its operations under a single entity.

Today, TYM continues to innovate, offering technologically advanced tractors with a focus on sustainability and efficiency, ranging from compact models to utility machines for global markets.
